Introducing Semaglutide injections as one of the services at the spa, we can extend options of weight management to our clients looking to get healthier and stay healthy. An FDA approved prescription injection for the management of chronic overweight or obesity in adults. This medication mimics the hormone glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) that targets areas of the brain that regulate appetite and food intake. It also decreases stomach emptying therefore making you feel fuller longer. When used with a well balanced healthy diet and increased physical activity exercise routine, semaglutide can help individuals shed the pounds right off.

Semaglutide does not boost energy levels or speed up metabolism. It simply suppresses appetite which decreases caloric intake. For optimal weight loss potential, weekly B12 lipotropic injections can be administered for increased energy and fat burning metabolism.

Semaglutide should be injected underneath the skin of the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. You should alternate the site with each injection. The recommended starting dose is injected once a week. After 4 weeks, your doctor may decide to increase your dose to continue with weight loss if necessary. This is a minimum 6 week course of weekly injections to jump start your weight loss journey.
