Sclerotherapy is a non surgical vein removal treatment that can safely and effectively eliminate unwanted veins in a single session that only takes half an hour or less. The actual treatment involves the injection of a sterile solution into the unwanted vein that will permanently alter the vein’s wall. While soreness, temporary bruising or redness may occur you will be able to return to your activity immediately after the procedure. In some cases you may need to wear a compression stocking to facilitate the healing.

It is FDA-approved for the treatment of two types of veins in lower extremities: uncomplicated spider veins (very small veins less or equal 1mm in diameter) and/or uncomplicated small varicose veins (1 to 3 mm in diameter) known as reticular veins.
